| Planetary grinding is the most efficient method for removing old coatings, surface laitence, flooring adhesives, thin set, membranes and more! Finished surfaces are left in a condition ready to seal, coat or install new flooring.
The planetary grinding process involves the use of specialized grinding equipment fitted with diamond impregnated discs designed to cut and remove a coating or adhesive and profile the surface below. In most cases this can be done in one pass over the floor. Multiple layers and heavily damaged surfaces may require a more aggressive diamond disc, this will usually expose larger aggregates as the top layer of the concrete, known as the cream, is completely removed. |
